Actors Guild Of Nigeria Plans To Transform Anambra Into Hub For Film Making, Entertainment

The Anambra State Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lady Esther Anyaegbunam, says that the association is developing a plan to turn the state into a hub for film making, entertainment and a destination for Nollywood in Nigeria.

Lady Esther revealed this while speaking to newsmen during activities marking her one year in office, where they visited hospitals, orphanage homes, as well as organized a workshop for their members. 

Recounting some of the achievements recorded within her first year in office, including the restoration of peace to the Guild and strengthening of the Guild’s zonal structures to function better, as well as welfare packages for veterans. Lady Esther appealed to Governor Chukwuma Soludo to extend more support to the creative industry in the state.  

In their separate remarks, the Chairman of AGN Board of Trustees, Mr. Emma Ogugua and the National Vice President, South East of the Guild, Comrade Clement Anigbo commended Governor Soludo for creating the enabling environment for the film industry in the state to thrive.
