Ndi Anambra Central irrespective of party affiliations have unitedly decided to support only Governor Chukwuma Soludo for the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State.
In an eight points communique issued by stakeholders of Anambra Central extraction, read by the Deputy Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Chukwuma Okoye, during the Anambra Central Rally where all the Traditional Rulers in the zone gave Governor Soludo the title “Olu Atu Egwu” and endorsed his re-election along with Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim for a second term, saying that the decision was aimed at appreciating the Governor for all his achievements and what heb is still doing in the zone.
They said that after robust discussion, critical review and testimonials from constituents and having transformed Awka, giving it a look befitting to a state capital and the Governor’s governance model built on five pillars of development, they decided that it is better to give him opportunity to consolidate on the projects he already initiated for the overall development of the state.
They called on all the twenty one Local Government Areas of the state to throw their full weight behind Governor Soludo and his Deputy, Dr Ibezim, and declared that they are the consensus candidates of the Anambra Central, that no other candidate has their mandate as anyone who parades himself irrespective of party affiliations is not doing so with the mandate of Ndi Anambra Central.
