Beacon of Hope Outreach Organizes Caring Of Girl Child-Girls Initiative At Nawfia

Due to moral decadence in today’s society, series of lectures and trainings have been organized by organizations to expose the girl-child on how to guard and guide selves to achieve greater heights and contribute in building a better society.

Correspondent, Amaka Onwuzulike reports that such organizations were the Beacon of Hope Outreach, which in collaboration with Honourable and Mrs Arthur Okechukwu Nwobi, organized ‘Caring of Girl Child-Girls Initiative and No Girl is Left Behind’ aimed at ensuring the educational advancement of young girls and adolescents to create better outcomes.

Welcoming the team at Saint Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church, Nawfia, the Archdeacon, Nawfia Archdeconry and Vicar of the church, Venerable Dr. Onyinyechukwu, extolled the convener for the idea of reaching out to young girls, stating that it is also imperative to invest and build women who are salt of the earth, charging the young girls to be resilient, focused and hard work.

The Coordinator of Beacon of Hope Outreach, Lady Celestina Ekezie, explained that the outreach is a non-governmental organization that extends helping hands to many people in the society, especially empowerment of the pre-adolescent and adolescent girls within the underserved communities through health, education and provision of necessary resources to maintain good personal hygiene and healthy lifestyles.
