Determined to assist indigent students in their academic pursuits, Dr. Chioma Awuzie foundation has awarded scholarships to indigent students across public Institutions in Anambra State.
The event which held at the Federal Polytechnic Oko auditorium, was also used to celebrate the founder’s fifty two birthday anniversary, while the scholarship sum ranges between one hundred and fifty thousand to two hundred thousand Naira and benefitting students cut across schools, including Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam and Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe.

In her remarks, the founder of the foundation, Dr. Chioma Awuzie explained that the foundation since 2019 has sustained efforts towards giving support to indigent people beyond scholarship, including medical outreach, strategic community support, skill empowerment and called for partnership and support for the growth of the foundation.


Some of the beneficiaries, including, Macdonald Iheanacho and Mmesoma Okoye expressed appreciation for the gesture, adding that it will go a long way to assist them in their academic pursuit.
