Legacy University Okija Matriculates Over 400 Students For 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Legacy University, Okija has matriculated over hundred students for the 2024/2025 academic session and has secured accreditation for more courses.

Speaking at  the nineth matriculation ceremony  held at the main campus of the University in Okija, the Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Leonard Nkameme announced that the University has received accreditation to commence studies in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Cyber Security, Public Health Sciences, History and International Relations and Software Engineering.

On his part, the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission, Professor Abdullahi Ribadu who spoke through Babagida Mohamed, said that the University boasts of well-equipped lecture halls, offices for both academic and non-academic staff, and other facilities that ensure a conducive learning environment and urged the newly matriculated students to uphold discipline and strive for academic excellence. 

Administering oath of matriculation to the fresh students, the Vice Chancellor of the school, Professor Ezekiel Ihionu revealed that the facilities in the institution are built to support holistic development and help students achieve their goals, while the member representing Ihiala two constituency in the state House of Assembly, Honourable Golden Iloh,  Vice Chairman, Board of Trustee, Legacy University, Festus Onyima alongside his Secretary Lawrence Obeta reminded them that the road ahead requires hard work, discipline and resilience.
