Anambra State Govt, Lextech Ecosystem Trains 35 Pioneer Verbatim Court Reporters In Awka

As part of the Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and speedy justice delivery, the Anambra State government in partnership with Lextech Ecosystem Limited, has graduated thirty-five pioneer verbatim court reporters in the state at the Federal High Court Complex, Awka after they were trained to transcribe court proceedings in real time, using advanced legal technology, positioning them as key drivers into judicial innovation.

Speaking at the event, Governor Soludo, represented by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Professor Sylvia Ifemeje said that the implementing technology and innovation in the judicial system is a major part of his campaign promises. 

The Anambra state Chief Judge, Justice Onochie Anyaachebelu represented by the ICT Chairman of council, Justice J.I Nweze, acknowledged the state government’s continuous efforts in repositioning the judiciary system in the state and charged the trainees to understand that they  have become indispensable parts of the judicial administration. 

In his address, the Chief Executive Officer of Lextech Ecosystem Limited, Emeka Albert, described the event as a landmark achievement by the Soludo administration geared towards reforming the judicial system.
