Ahead of the November eight gubernatorial election in Anambra, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has embarked on local government tour to interact with the electorate on the journey so far.
Correspondent, Amaka Onwuzulike reports that the move tagged “Thank You Tour / Ward Campaign Council Inauguration”, pulled the APC Governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, his deputy , Senator Uche Ekwunife, many stakeholders and other APC faithful to Ihiala, Ekwusigo, Orumba North and South Local Government Areas respectively.
Addressing the gathering, Prince Ukachukwu noted that one of the cardinal points of government is to protect the lives and property of her citizens, and promised to justify the confidence of the people if elected, even as he promised to be accessible, invest in human capital development, ensure health care and provision of basic amenities, while the state money will be used judiciously.
In her speech, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the APC, Senator Ekwunife, maintained that her principal is a well-known man with integrity, and expressed optimism that he will lay down infrastructural projects, improve security situation in the state, while health care of mothers and children will be prioritized.
