Aguata Diocesan Women’s Ministry Decries Decline In Standards Of Education In Nigeria

Aguata Diocesan Women’s Ministry has blamed the recent mass failure of students in Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examinations on the decline in the standards of education in Nigeria.

The President of the Women’s Ministry Mrs Chinyere Ezeofor who disclosed this at Saint Lukes Parish Isulo in Orumba South local government area  while presenting her address to thousands of delegates at the twentieth Aguata Diocesan Women’s conference, decried the trauma the massive Jamb examinations failure caused the students and parents as well as the schools, calling on the federal government to increase its investment in the education system.

The Bishop of Aguata Diocese Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor in his remarks regretted the going back to idolatry by the youths who are future leaders and called on parents and Ministers of God to rise to the challenge.

Some delegates at the conference with the theme,  “God’s Great tasks for the Church, The Great commission”, including Lady Gloria Ezezika and Lady Ngozi Ike reassured that they will translate what they learnt at the conference into action.
