Miss Ifunanya Agbala of Mater Amabilis Secondary School,Umuoji, has emerged the Best Student of the sixth edition of the Dr Chinedu Umeadi Annual Science Question Competition while Master Chukwuemeka Eze-Obiorah of Marist Comprehensive College, Nteje, emerged the Best in the Junior Category.
Mater Amabilis Secondary School, Umuoji, also emerged as the Best School in the Senior category of the competition.

The event annually organized by Dr.Chinedu Umeadi Foundation in collaboration with Anambra State Government, Post Primary Schools Service Commission and Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, took place at the ASUBEB utility Hall, Awka, and attracted students, teachers and education officers drawn from across the state.
In his address, the President of the Foundation, Sir Ikem Onwuadi who mentioned the impacts of the foundation on Anambra secondary schools, explained that the occasion is a testament to the Dr Chinedu Umeadi Foundation’s commitment to promoting science education and excellence in Anambra state noting that the foundation will strive to provide more opportunities for students to develop their skills and talents.

The Chairman of the occasion, Honourable Jude Akpua in his opening remarks, thanked God for what he is using Dr Chinedu Umeadi to do in Anambra state for six years now and told the students gathered that to whom much is given much is expected, urging them to soar like eagles and make their parents proud in their academic pursuits.

While appreciating the sponsor of the programme, the Chairman PPSSC, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu represented by Member one Awka zone, Dr.Uche Okeke, the Executive Chairman, ASUBEB, Dr Vera Nwadinobi and Director Science and Tech.PPSSC, Mrs Eucharia Ikegwuonwu in their addresses, pointed out that the foundation helps students to gain passion to learn more, look for possibilities and opportunities to succeed beyond the classroom and the curiosity to secure their future.
