University Lecturer Agbasi Blames Economic Hardship On Petroleum Subsidy Removal, Asks FG To Support Small Scale Industries

A university lecturer, Dr Uju Agbasi has blamed the high cost of living in Nigeria on the removal of petroleum subsidy by the government without putting necessary measures in place to cushion the effects on the citizenry.

Dr Agbasi who is an associate Professor with the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka stated this during an ABS Radio programme and maintained that the federal government should find a lasting Solution to the hardships facing Nigerians. 

She commended various individuals who have established industries to assist the government in checking the rate of unemployment in the country and called on the government to seek ways of assisting small scale industries to grow optimally.
