Former TC Chairman Orumba South Council Uchendu Urges Ndi Anambra To Promote Think – Home – Philosophy To Attract Investment

Ndi Anambra have been called upon to take responsibility in building an investment-worthy homeland by projecting the positive developments happening across the state to their relatives in the diaspora.

The former Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, Prince Neville Uchendu, who made the call on “The Weekend Show”, an ABS Television weekend programme, commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his massive developmental strides in the state, noting that the Governor has laid a solid foundation to make Anambra attractive to investors, especially indigenes living abroad.

He however pointed out that many people in diaspora are discouraged from returning home because of the frightening and negative stories they often hear, which are sometimes intentionally exaggerated in order to keep receiving money from people living abroad.

Prince Uchendu, therefore, urged Ndi Anambra to become ambassadors of the homeland by sharing the good news of the state’s progress, and emphasized that changing the narrative is a collective responsibility, and that by speaking positively about Anambra, more people in diaspora would be encouraged to return, invest, and contribute to the state’s development.
