On the World Music Day; celebrated on the 21st of June every year, people celebrate the soul-stirring power of music that unites, heals and inspires, as they commemorate World Music Day, which now has grown into a global event that symbolises music as a universal language to symbolise inclusivity and unity.
Theme for this year’s celebration is “Healing through harmony”.
Speaking on the significance of the day, a music artist in Anambra, Ugonna BFS Onyema, said that music is life, clears the air when things are not moving well, unite people and create lovely atmosphere.
According to him, without music, life will be unbearable, even as he said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo recognises the role of music in the society, reason he created serene environment for musicians to operate in the state, thereby boosting growth and development of the state.
