Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has called for collective efforts in ensuring road safety across the state, assuring that his administration will continue to partner with the Federal Road Safety Corps to reduce road crashes.
Governor Soludo made this known in Awka, through his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, during a courtesy visit by the Anambra State Federal Road Safety Corps, team led by the Sector Commander, Mrs. Joyce Alexander.

The Governor expressed concern over the widespread ignorance of road signs among motorists and other road users, stressing that many road users neither understand nor obey traffic signs.

Earlier, the Anambra State FRSC Sector Commander, Mrs. Alexander, explained that the visit was aimed at encouraging the Anambra State Government to fully embrace the State Road Safety Advisory Council.
