Constituency Project:  Anambra Lawmaker Akpua Builds Solar-powered Pavilion At Nkwo-Oye-Orji Market, Egbengwu Nimo

The member representing Njikoka Constituency Two in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr Jude Akpua, has built eighteen stall capacity solar-powered pavilion at Nkwo-Oye-Orji Market, Egbengwu Nimo; to improve market infrastructure, boast commercial activity and promote local economic development.

In his speech during the commissioning, Dr Akpua, who explained that the project was done under ‘Community-Choose-Your-Project’ initiative, said it would boost grassroot economic development and give the people of the area a sense of belonging. 

In his address, the Nimo Ward Four Chairman of APGA, Mr Anthony Atupuluazu, applauded Dr Akpua for his commitment to the development of his constituency, and acknowledged that the commercial facility would foster growth of local economy and improve the livelihood of the people of the area.

In their separate reactions, the Njikoka Local Government Chairman, Barrister Chinedu Ononiba, Vice Chairman of APGA, Anambra Central, Chief Nduka Okoye, and Njikoka Local Government APGA Chairman, Mr Chinedu Anaekwe, extolled Dr Akpua and dubbed him as ‘Mr Project’ due to numerous projects he has built within two years of his representation.
