Faculty of Agriculture, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has organized a send-off event for the outgoing Dean of the faculty, Professor Cordelia Ebenebe, who takes a bow from the position after completing her two-year term.
The event held at the faculty hall of the institution attracted Heads of Departments in the faculty, academic and non-academic staff, as well as students of the faculty.
In her remark, the outgoing Dean, Professor Ebenebe, thanked the faculty for the honour and charged them to continue working hard to move the faculty forward, charging the incoming Dean to sustain the tempo of success laid by his predecessors.
On their parts, the Sub-Dean of the faculty, Dr Ibeabuchi Uko, a one-time Dean of the faculty, Professor Charles Onugwu, and the Head of Department of Agriculture Economics and Extension, Dr Ngozi Obiekwe, listed the various achievements of Professor Ebenebe which have transformed the faculty.
