The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor has advised politicians to focus more on provision of infrastructure and job creation for the youths rather than working for their next election.

Presenting his charge at Holy Trinity Parish, Ufuma in Orumba North Local Government Area venue of the ongoing second session of the seventh synod of Aguata Diocese, Bishop Ezeofor called on political office holders to impact positively on the people and commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for series of innovations his administration has brought to Anambra State.


The Bishop, while speaking on the theme of the synod God’s Great tasks for the church the Great Commission, charged ministers of God to intensify efforts towards winning more souls for Christ, especially the youths who are gradually returning back to idolatry.

Bishop Ezeofor who regretted the collapse of many industries as a result of epileptic power supply, called on the federal government to find a lasting solution to the problems facing Nigerians and commended President Bola Tinubu for his student’s loan initiative, even as he preferred the Clerical Synod Secretary of the Diocese, Reverend Izuchukwu Mojekwu to statutory Canon of the cathedral alongside others.
