7TH Synod: Diocese Of Ogbaru Anglican Communion Urges Christians To Uphold Faith In Christ

The Diocese of Ogbaru Anglican Communion has successfully concluded its seventh Synod with a renewed charge on Christians to deepen their faith and uphold unity in the body of Christ, which was held at Saint Mary the Virgin Church, East Niger.

The event drew the distinguished guests including the Archbishop of the Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim, Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, Honourable Noble Igwe, among others.

In his charge, the Bishop of Ogbaru Diocese, Right Reverend Prosper Amah, emphasized the need for unwavering focus on Jesus Christ as the ultimate example of perseverance and faith, especially in times of trial.     

The guest preacher and Bishop, Diocese of Wusasa in Zaria, Kaduna State, Right Reverend Titus Alkali, encouraged Christians to offer praises to God with full assurance that their prayers will be answered.
