The Anambra Political class has been urged to support efforts of Governor Chukwuma Soludo to attract more federal government interventions to the state.
Speaking in Awka, the immediate past Vice President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Damian Okeke Ogene said that the inclusion of Anambra State and the South-East in the National Railway Masterplan will enhance movement of people, goods and services not only in the region but also across the country as it will link the region to the rest of the country which will boost socioeconomic activities and forge more united federation while integration into the nation’s Gas Pipeline Masterplan will accelerate industrial and technological development, especially with the achievements already recorded by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
Chief Okeke Ogene also noted that completion of ongoing road projects and other neglected ones will enhance connectivity and expand economic opportunities as well as improve the quality of life of Nigerians while intervention on Environmental issues which have remained significant threat to the region over the years, will help reduce the impact of erosion and flooding as well as protect lives and property.
He extolled the vision of Governor Soludo in his strategic engagement with the federal government to achieve common goals and bridge political differences.
