Anambra State government has banned the use of miracle centres in the conduct of external examinations as part of its commitment to transforming and sanitizing its schools and colleges .
The Commissioner for Education Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh who disclosed this in an ABS Radio programme Oge Umuibe, maintained that the existence of miracle centres encourages examination malpractices, noting that Anambra State has continued to lead in external examinations and cautioned head teachers and principals against sabotaging the efforts of the State government.
The State Education Commissioner who described the free education policy of the Soludo administration as part of the government’s desire to give every student and pupil quality education and warned parents to desist from sending their children of school age to hawk during school hours.
