Anambra, as a sub national entity, has long been the undeniable epicenter of Nigeria’s and, indeed, West Africa’s economic hub.
Anambra state has had its fair share of “developmental challenges especially with poor infrastructural development, skewed planning, political interference and inconsistent growth, among other setbacks.
Over the years successive administrations preceding the current dispensation, made their own contributions towards the growth and development of the State.
The achievements of the present administration across the three senatorial districts of Anambra State have made it clear that A NEW ANAMBRA beckons under the government of Professor Soludo.
These include, a world-class Government House after close to four decades of a make shift Government House, Solution Fun City facilities and tourism hub, quality access road, cutting across communities and terminating at the CHINUA ACHEBE INTERNATIONAL PASSENGER AND CARGO AIRPORT UMUERI, initiated and built by the former governor Willie Obiano and other
road networks connecting various towns across Anambra State.
Others are transformation of Onitsha to regain its glory as the commercial heartbeat of West Africa.
The Governor also established Operation Udo Ga Achi Security architecture and Agunechemba Security outfit guided by the Anambra State Homeland Security law to eliminate crime and criminality in the state, revamped and repositioned the health and education sectors to meet needs of the twenty first century including upgrading and equipping of general hospitals which Umueri Oke-ebo community benefited from and employment of thousands of teachers, prudent management of available resources, in line with the policy of Zero-borrowing, while deepening investment attractions through business friendly environment encouraging teeming industrialists, medium and small-scale businessmen and women.
We, the Umueri Economic Development Strategy Initiative align with Governor Soludo’s leadership style.
The people of UMUERI felicitate with the Governor’s sterling accomplishments so far, especially recognizing and naming the road leading to the Chinua Achebe International passenger and cargo airport Umueri, the Willy Obiano boulevard in honour of your predecessor, Chief Willy Obiano who executed the airport project.
As a people, UMUERI is thankful to you for the road to the airport, which, no doubt benefits Awkuzu, Nteje and others.
May we also request for the construction of another all-important access road to the airport from UMUERI.
The road, when constructed, will provide easy access to the airport, not just for UMUERI, as the Airport Host Community, but also to other communities like Aguleri, Anam, Nsugbe, Ayamelum, Omor, Anaku, among oters, who still have to journey to Nteje in order to connect to the Willy Obiano Boulervard, leading to the CHINUA ACHEBE INTERNATIONAL PASSENGER AND CARGO AIRPORT, UMUERI.
There is no doubt that your “SOLUTION PARADIGM ” will make this happen.

Okechi Egbuna Chairman, UMUERI ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY INITIATIVE and the entire Umueri Oke-ebo community also commend Governor, Soludo for attracting President Amed Tinubu to Anambra state for commissioning of projects. .
