Threat Of Blackout As GenCos Warn Of Possible Shutdown Over Four Trillion Naira Debt

The twenty three power generation companies in Nigeria have warned that they can no longer guarantee a steady eletricity supply due to the worsening liquidity crisis in the eletricity market with outstanding debts now exceeding four trillion naira.

 

The firm’s under the ages of the Association of Power Generation Companies,raised the alarm in a statement it should to the media and sighed by the chairman of the Board of Trustees,Mr Sani Bello.
