When ABS arrived the site from Urum-Amanuke end of the road, it was observed that the road has been asphalted from the Urum-Amanuke junction to Awka North Secretariat in Achalla where asphalting was on going.
Speaking to the ABS on the road with two big culverts, an indigene of the community, Mr. Edwin Orauno, explained that former Governors of Anambra State attempted to construct the road but stopped at some point until Governor Soludo came and wiped their tears and appreciated him for remembering them.
Another indigene of Achalla, Mr. Chibuzo Esedo said that they now have assess to Awka, the state capital because the road has been constructed, adding that evacuating their farm produce to commercial cities will now be easy for most of them who are predominantly farmers.
