Anambra State Commissioner for Lands, Professor Offornze Amucheazi, has commended Govenor Chukwuma Soludo for initiating and commissioning the Anambra State Geographic Information System, ANAMGIS.

Speaking to newsmen in Awka, Professor Amucheazi also thanked Governor Soludo for his numerous supports in seeing to the transformation of the Ministry of Lands, and stated that private Certificates of Occupancy, C of O, are now processed within seven days once all payments have been made, while public “C of O” relating to government-owned land are processed within three to four weeks where all requirements are complied with by land owners and users.

According to the Lands Commissioner, the Anambra State Geographic Information System, which is one of the highlights of the Governor’s campaign manifesto, will help in restoring public confidence in the land administration system in the state.
