Mater Christi Secondary School, Awada, has emerged the winner of the 2024 Foreign Languages’ Singing competition organized by Stelated Bilateral Educational Consultancy, with the support of Zenith Bank PLC.
Queen Anigbogu reports that the school went home with seven hundred thousand naira, Saint Kizito Secondary School, Umudioka; which came second went home with four hundred thousand naira, while Rosa Mystica High School, Agulu; which came third took home a three hundred thousand naira prize money.
In his opening remark, a priest, Venerable Paul Ojukwu, while speaking on the topic, “Embracing the Love of Christ”, told the students that God is calling them and everyone to embrace the love of Christ to enable them show love to people around.
The organizer of the event, Mr Stephen Igweze, explained that another edition will be organized this year; with higher prizes to be won while a representative of Zenith Bank PLC, Mr Nduka Nwanokwai, emphasized the need for students to be educated on basic financial management.
