The Anambra State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo, has warned all beggars occupying the streets of the state, and those sharing food to children on the streets to desist from doing such, saying that offenders will be prosecuted.
In a press statement in Awka, the Commissioner explained that sharing food to children on the streets encourages adult beggars to keep exposing their children to danger.
