Addressing the teachers at the venue of the promotional examinations, the Chairman, Post Primary Schools Service Commission, PPSSC, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, explained that the release of funds by Governor Soludo made the exercise possible, adding that going forward, the examinations will be computer-based, reason the teachers are encouraged to strive to become ICT- compliant.
Professor Ikediugwu reminded the teachers that their profession is noble and as such they should not engage in exam malpractice as they are role models to their students.
With the exercise, arrears of promotions for staff of PPSSC have been cleared.
