Guinea’s Govt Investigates Clashes That Claim Scores Of Lives At Football Match

At least fifty-six people have been killed in a crush following clashes at a football match in Guinea’s second-largest city, Nzérékoré, on Sunday, as fans invaded the pitch while contesting decision by the referee.

Prime Minister, Oury Bah, said an inquiry is being launched to find those responsible, calling the events “tragic”, and offering his condolences to the bereaved.
