Local Govt Election: Anambra Lawmaker Udoba Backs APGA Candidates In Anambra West

As part of the plans to ensure that Candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, from Anambra West Local Government Area cruise to victory in the upcoming Anambra State local government election scheduled to hold on September 28th 2024, the member representing Anambra West Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Honourable Patrick Udoba has met with all the Principal officers of the ten wards in the Local Government, Councillorship and Chairmanship candidates and his Deputy at the Umueze Anam Town Hall.

Speaking during the occasion, Honourable Udoba congratulated the candidates for emerging as APGA flag bearers and charged them to be resolute committed to the repositioning of the council area through dedicated service and development initiatives charging them to fully activate their grassroots mobilization capacity to ensure that they reach out to the people in all the nooks and crannies of the various polling units and political wards.

Also addressing the candidates, the Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right. Honourable Chukwuma Okoye advised the councilors to work in cordial relationship with the Chairman when elected, and be ambassadors of peace in the society.

The APGA Chairman in Anambra West, Mr. Romanus Egwuatu, thanked the Legislator for the timely gathering and prayed for the success of the election.

Also speaking, the Chairmanship candidate, of the Party, Mr. Fidelis Nnazor, represented by his deputy, Mrs. Nkiru Ndife said that a vote for them is a vote for consolidation of the developmental strides of the Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
