60th Birthday: Metuh Gives Succour To Orphanage, DCC, Clergy, Inmates Of Nnewi Correctional Centre

As part of activities marking his sixty years birthday celebration, a former National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, Chief Olisa Metuh has donated millions, food stuffs and toiletries to  children in orphanage home at Diocesan Church Centre Nnewi, home of retired Reverend fathers at Ndimgbu, and inmates at Nnewi Correctional Centre.

Speaking to journalists after making the donations, Chief Metuh who explained that the gesture is his own way of thanking God for his guidance, mercy and protection over his life, urged wealthy individuals in Anambra and beyond to always give to the less privileged in the society as a way of showing gratitude to God for his blessings.

On his part, the chairman of Seahorse Lubricants Company, Chief Ebuka Onunkwo who identified with Chief Metuh on his birthday celebration, thanked God for the life of the celebrant whom he described as a great asset to humanity, calling on well-to-do individuals in the State to emulate his philanthropic gesture by touching lives.

In her remarks, the eldest sister of Chief Metuh, Mrs Ezinne Obijiaku disclosed that he has been a blessing to their family and his community Nnewi, even as she prayed God to grant him good health, long life and wisdom to pilot the affairs of Metuh’s dynasty and bring all his siblings together.
