Governor Chukwuma Soludo says the state government, under his leadership, remains fully committed to the welfare and success of the NYSC scheme in Anambra.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony for the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream ‘2’ Corps members at the Nnamdi Azikiwe NYSC Unity Permanent Orientation Camp, Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government Area, Governor Soludo, represented by the state Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Patrick Aghamba, said his administration is relentlessly pursuing the “Anambra Vision 2070”, and commended the NYSC state Coordinator, Mrs Pauline Ojisua, for her commitment to the scheme.


In his remark, the state Chairman of NYSC Governing Board and Youth Development Commissioner, Mr Aghamba, represented the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mr Martin Agbili, noted that the NYSC has remained a cornerstone for national development, urging Corps members to embrace the core objectives of the scheme.

Also speaking at the event which featured swearing-in session, match past and other displays, the state Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs Pauline Ojisua, who thanked the state government for its assistance to the scheme and the host communities, charged the Corps members to embrace all the programs designed to equip them with necessary knowledge and skills to navigate challenges that lie ahead, and to respect the customs and traditions of their host communities, be law abiding and contribute positively to their development.
