In ensuring that healthy living championed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s wife Dr Nonye is projected amongst all the communities in Anambra State to promote longevity and good health, the Anambra State Association of Town Unions, Youth and Women’s Wing, have organized a one day seminar and inauguration of Community Lady Organizers to promote good health.
The Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo, in her speech, reeled out the achievements of the state government, especially the free antenatal and delivery services, free education policy, adding that the policies are geared towards promoting healthy living.
The ASATU Youth Leader, Comrade Ken Okoli appreciated the wife of the state Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo for her efforts in championing healthy living amongst Ndi Anambra.
Also speaking, the ASATU Women’s Wing Acting President, Lady Joy Otti and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment, Dr. Nelson Omenugha explained that inaugurating the Women Community Advocates for healthy living will bring a significant change in an effort to encourage healthy wellbeing amongst the populace.
