The State Government says it has met almost all the conditions required for the appeal court to resume sitting within the shortest possible time.
The Attorney General and Commissioner for justice Anambra State, Professor Silvier Ifemeje who disclosed this when the representatives of Association of Senior Advocates of Nigeria paid her a courtesy visit in her office at Awka explained that the present administration has also put in place the facilities required in all the high courts and correctional centres in the state to expidite the hearing of criminal cases.
Professor Ifemeje enlightened the group about five residential quarters under construction by Anambra State Government that will facilitate the employment of more judges and informed them that the present administration is about to conclude end to end full automation of the judiciary and justice sector.
The state Attorney General assured the lawyers that Anambra State Government is doing everything possible to ensure that judges are comfortable in the state.
