The Deputy Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Chukwuma Okoye has commissioned the rehabilitated town union hall of in Awka South Local Government Area.
Speaking at the event, the President General of Ezinator Town Union, Mr. Chizoba Okoli listed many projects which the community has benefited from through the representation of Honourable Okoye, including installation of street lights, modern health centre and renovation of town hall with restrooms and offices.
Speaking at the event, the Mayor of Awka South Local Government Area, Prince Chinedu Okafor, the Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Awka South Local government area, Barrister Lawrence Chukwuma, and the Woman Leader of Obizi political zone, Dr. Ngozi Ekwunife lauded Honourable Okoye for his people oriented programmes and policies that ameliorate the suffering of the downtrodden and enjoined the community to show appreciation by casting their votes for APGA in the November eight gubernatorial election.
Handing over the project to the community, the Deputy Speaker who also represents Awka South two Constituency, said the project was carried out under his “Community Choose Your Project Initiative” aimed at addressing the infrastructure decay in the constituency.
