A moment of pain, deep reflection and grief it was for family, staff of Anambra Broadcasting Service and well wishers of the Obinyeluaku family over the demise of Mr. Ifeanyi Ogechukwu Obinyeluaku, who died after a brief illness while on annual leave.


During the funeral service at the family compound at Oraukwu, Orumba North Council Area, the retired Bishop of Isiukwuato Anglican Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Chukwuka, charged those present to run a Godly earthly race so as not to miss heaven.
Speaking to the ABS after late Ifeanyi was committed to Mother earth, the eldest brother, Mr. Nnaemeka Obinyeluaku described him as a quiet, respectful and family oriented personality, who was also dedicated to his work, saying it is hard to comprehend the reality of Ifeanyi’s demise, reminiscing the fond memories they shared.

The immediate elder brother, Mr.Ikenna Obinyeluaku noted that he was a selfless, caring and a good brother whom he will miss, advising all to live a good life with cherished memories they would be remembered for.
The Director of News and Current Affairs, ABS, Mrs. Juddy-Jeff Nwabueze who represented the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS, Mr Chris Molokwu, remarked that the deceased was a dedicated staff member, a gentleman who never failed in his responsibilities but rather found ways to add value while a co-editor, Mrs. Stella Igboka expressed deep sadness over Ifeanyi’s demise, noting that he was a resourceful person, praying for his departed soul.


Late Ifeanyi died at the age of fourty, and survived by his Mother and two brothers.
