The Federal Government has disowned a fake recruitment letter currently circulating on social media, warning Nigerians, especially job seekers, to be cautious and not to fall victim to fraudsters.
In a statement released by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, the Board’s Secretary, AM Jibril, clarified that while Presidential approval has been granted for recruitment into the four paramilitary services under its supervision, the actual recruitment exercise has not yet commenced.
The Board reiterated that all genuine recruitment announcements would be made through national newspapers and other verified platforms, and that no fees would be required at any stage of the process.
