Anambra Lawmaker Nwafor Flags Off Free Medical Outreach For Constituents

The member representing Orumba South Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Engineer Emma Nwafor, has flagged off a five-day free medical outreach for his constituents; aimed at improving access to quality healthcare services within the area.

The programme, which witnessed massive turnout of beneficiaries, saw over two hundred individuals enrolled into the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme, which grants them access to subsidized healthcare services in the state.

Speaking during the flag-off ceremony, Engineer Nwafor, who also serves as the Chairman, House Committee on Works and Infrastructure, said the programme is part of activities marking his second year in office, and noted that the gesture was borne out of genuine concern for the health and welfare of his constituents. 

The lawmaker, who highlighted some of his achievements in the last two years, including the attraction of infrastructural projects, employment opportunities, skill acquisition programmes and empowerment schemes across various communities in the constituency, reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and development of his constituency, stressing that he remains deeply grateful to the people of Orumba South for the mandate to represent them.
