The Anambra State government has announced its partnership with SMFest through the Solution Innovation District in organizing the SMFest Awka 2025, a free digital skills training for Anambra youths, which aims at deepening innovation, technology adoption, and entrepreneurial growth among youths in Anambra and the Southeast region in general.
While disclosing this during a press briefing in Awka, the Chief Executive Officer of Solution Innovation District and Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Innovation and Business incubation, Chinwe Okoli who disclosed that SID is the official major sponsor of the SMFest Awka 2025, said that the Soludo government decided to support SMFest because it reflects its commitment to building a smart, creative, and digital tribe of young creators and Innovators, who will thrive in the global digital economy sphere.
Also speaking, the Licensee and Organizer, SMFest Awka, Mr. Ifeanyi Ochije noted that the Anambra State government’s involvement in the SMFest Awka event underscores the state’s serious commitment to youth empowerment through innovation, disclosing that the event will kickoff with virtual free one Week Digital and Social Media Bootcamp on June 22nd to 29th, 2025, and climax with a conference on fifth of July at Hollywood Event Center, Awka, and asked interested participants to sign up via www.smfest.org/awka or get across to them through the phone numbers, 08067252567, or 0813 676 5568.
