The Anambra State Association of Women Incorporated, United States of America (ASA Women Cancer Coalition In Nigeria) have given one million naira cheque each to four female cancer patients totaling four million naira in Anambra State.
Speaking during the handover of the cheques at the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Awka, the President and founder of the association, Dr. Anthonia Umeh represented by the South East Coordinator of the group, Mrs Ebele Obiakonze said that the association was founded to alleviate healthcare costs for less privileged individuals, particularly women with cancer, adding that they have had medical missions in Anambra.

On his part, the Managing Director of Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Christopher Molokwu noted that life without giving is not worth living and described what the association has done as remarkable and commendable, assuring that ABS will continue to partner them for a healthier society.

In their various remarks, the beneficiaries, Tochukwu Chukwuka, Chigozie Nwankwo, Ukamaka Okoli and Mary Nwosa appreciated ASA Women USA Incorporated for their generosity and love for humanity, praying God to keep blessing them.
