Governor Chukwuma Soludo has urged youths in Anambra to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development in their various capacities, rather than being part of the problems to be solved.
Government House Correspondent, Emmanuel Okonkwo reports that the Governor made the call through his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, during a one-day training workshop for the one hundred and seventy-nine Anambra community youth leaders and Southeast youth leaders organized by the Anambra State Association of Town Unions, ASATU, Youth Wing in Awka.
Governor Soludo, who regretted that many youths no longer care about how to contribute to the development of their various towns and states, called on them to learn to use their various groups and platforms to assist in the development agenda of their respective communities and states for more prosperous society. Earlier in a presentation, the member representing Anaocha Two Constituency in the state House of Assembly, Honourable Ejike Okechukwu, reminded the youths that government alone cannot bring about needed development in the state, hence the need for all to combine efforts with the government
