Knights of Saint John International, Nnewi Grand Commandery, have celebrated their five years anniversary with the presentation of awards to individuals who have contributed to the development of the society
The ceremony commenced with mass service held at Saint John of the Cross Catholic Church, Egbo, Nnewi presided over by Monsignor Patrick Ezeobata who charged the knights to always serve God in truth and holiness in order to make heaven.
In their separate speeches,the Grand President of Nnewi Grand Commandery, Sir Edwin Ukorah and the first Vice Grand Respected President, Lady Ify Ofordeme urged their members to be steadfast and committed to the growth of the society.
One of the awardees, Sir Peter Nwosu, thanked the society for honouring him, adding that the award has encouraged him to be more committed to God’s service.
