The Catholic Bishop of Nnewi diocese, Most Reverend Jonas-Benson Okoye has lauded the massive developmental achievements of the Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Oko,Dr. Chioma Awuzie within one hundred days in office.
The Catholic Prelate who stated this at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, Oko, during a thanksgiving mass that brought to conclusion, activities marking Dr. Awuzie’s one hundred days in office,enjoined her to continue to make God the bedrock of the Polytechnic in order to achieve her vision for the school.
The Deputy Governor of Imo state, Chinyere Ekomaru pointed out that the essential qualities and achievements of Dr Awuzie, proved that women have the capacity to perform in high levels of decision-making in the country.
Speaking after the service, Dr. Awuzie enumerated all her achievements within hundred days and assured that the institution will witness significant progress in all aspects of development.
