The All Progressives Grand Alliance past executives of Awka South One Constituency in Awka South Local Government Area have held an inaugural meeting in support of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s second term bid.
Speaking during the meeting, the convener, Engineer Obiorah Okafor, noted that he called the gathering for him to hear from the past executive who have worked and continued working for the party with a view to addressing their grievances if any, and disclosed that Governor Soludo has turned around the economic fortunes of the State in both human and infrastructural developments without borrowing a Kobo..
The Awka South Local Government Chairman of the party, Barrister Lawrence Chukwuma thanked the convener for the timely meeting, saying that Governor Soludo has done fantastically well and has returned the party to the people, urging other party stakeholders to emulate Engineer Okafor.
According to a party stakeholder in Awka South, Engineer Emmanuel Nwonwu, Governor Soludo has shown capacity in urban and rural developments, calling on Ndi Anambra to vote for the Governor during the forthcoming election.
