Nsugbe Youths Protest Disappearance Of Onyedika Dibua

Youths of Nsugbe community in Anambra East Local Government Area have appealed to Governor Chukwuma Soludo to look into the sudden disappearance of one of their sons, Chief Onyedika Dibua, who has been reportedly missing for the past five days.

They made the appeal during a peaceful protest  in the community which began with a meeting of the youths at Okikizu, where many youths including Mr Michael Igbeke, and Franca Ajana who spoke on behalf of Umuada Nsugbe, said that they would no longer watch their children keep disappearing without traces. 

Speaking shortly after marching to the house of the oldest man in the community, Chief Chukwulozie Ogunkwo, the Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Nsugbe Ward One, Mr Chukwunonso Onwuzuluike explained that they had searched for Chief Dibua at various police stations, including Otuocha Police Division, 3-3 Police station, Area Command Onitsha, Central Police Station Onitsha, State Criminal Investigation Department Awka, Zone-13 Ukpo to know if he was arrested by them but did not find him. 

On his part, the Nsugbe Ward One Councilor and Deputy Leader of the Congress of Councilors, Mr. Francis Amuzie, urged the Anambra State government and Anambra East Local Government to intervene in Chief Dibua’s sudden disappearance and ensure his safe return.
