As the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Dr. Chioma Awuzie marked her hundred days in office, the institution has recognized individuals and members of staff who have contributed immensely to the growth of the institution.
Also during the event, new projects such as the Staff Sports Club and Guest House, expanded and renovated Polytechnic Press, Medical Centre Ufuma Campus, reactivated polytechnic water factory, reactivated polytechnic bakery and confectionaries, security posts completed under the new administration in the school were commissioned.


Speaking at the event, Dr Awuzie expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, and the Governing Council for given her the opportunity to pilot the affairs of the school, saying that her aspiration as Rector of the institution is to rebuild trust, strengthen academic excellence of the polytechnic.

On his part, the Director of Polytechnic Education and Allied Institutions Department of the Federal Ministry of Education, Dr. Ejeh Usman who was represented by a deputy director in the department, Jacob Umoru affirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to educational development across the country.
