WASSCE: Ado Girls Secondary School, Onitsha Used As Pilot School For Proposed CBT

Ado Girls Secondary School, Onitsha has been used as a pilot school for the writing of the proposed Computer Based Test, CBT, for West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE.

Chairman of Post Primary Schools Service Commission, PPSSC, Awka, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, who observed this during her on-the-spot monitoring of the ongoing WASSC Examination, charged school Principals to emulate their colleague Ado Girls Secondary Schools, Onitsha, Mrs. Chinelo Okocha, in allowing their schools to be used for CBT WASSCE.

Students of Ado Girls Secondary School Onitsha testified that writing CBT is the best; as it gives no room for exam malpractice, while the PPSSC Chairman, Professor Ikediugwu, directed Principals of the schools visited to tell teachers who were not seen in their classes to visit the PPSSC headquarters in Awka for explanations.
