The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has sealed Vianna Bakery located in Awka for noncompliance to the required quality standard in the food industry.
Correspondent Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the zonal Coordinator of FCCPC South East, Mrs Francisca Obialor who sealed the factory with the enforcement team of the commission explained that they had written the factory severally for years to come to their office for proper guidance on food production but they turned down their invitations.
Mrs Obialor pointed out that consumer welfare remains the priority of the commission, adding that the factory would be reopened for business when it complies fully to the instructions given to it.
