The Anambra state government, Nigeria Gas Infrastructure Company and FRADRO Gas and Power Limited have held stakeholders’ meeting on planned twenty-four-inches, 600MMSCFD gas pipeline project that will come from Agbor in Delta State to Awka with city gates at Onitsha and Awka.
In his remarks, Governor Chukwuma Soludo represented by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu assured the partnering organizations that the state will provide them with the most-friendly business environment and urged them to ensure that maximum health and safety measures for all affected communities are met.

In his address of welcome, the Commissioner for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Barrister Tony Ifeanya revealed that the project aligns with the vision of Governor Soludo, saying that the meeting represents a significant milestone in the state’s energy development.

The representative of Fradro Group, Mr. Kunle Robert, expressed optimism that the journey will collectively yield significant benefits for the state and confirmed that Fradro’s 24” 600MMSCFD gas pipeline project is a trailblazer and a testament to the commitment of developing gas infrastructure in the state.
