More Stakeholders Applaud Soludo For Repositioning Education Sector

Stakeholders, teachers and students have commended the Anambra State Government for its deliberate effort at improving the standard of education in the state with various policies and programmes, while also ensuring the welfare of children in the state.

Sharing their views during this year’s Children’s Day celebration, the Managing Director of Awka Capital Development Authority, ACTDA, Dr. Ossy Onuko, remarked that holding the celebration at the Solution Fun City Awka was giving Anambra children a sense of belonging; given that such world-class facilities never existed in the state since it’s creation, while a community leader, Barrister Titus Akpudo, commended  the state government for its deliberate approach as it concerns education and building infrastructure, adding that the free education, free antenatal and free delivery services in the state, among others, are all geared towards uplifting the Anambra child for a better future.

A teacher, Mr. Ikenna Orafu; from Community Secondary School, Isuofia said holding the event at the Solution Fun City motivated students to participate in match past; with other benefits, while another teacher, Kenechukwu Ejim; from Community Secondary School, Amansea explained that state government has made effort to ensure ICT learning with the Solution Smart Schools initiative, which he said is highly commendable.

Students who spoke to the ABS, including Miss Onyinyechi Onu; from Stellamaris College, Umueri, and Master Chidera Obijiofor; from community Secondary School, Enugwu-Agidi expressed happiness for celebrating the children’s day in a different and unique venue, noting that learning has improved in their schools through the efforts of the state government.
