Anambra State Executive Council, ANSEC, has reviewed the Kaolin factory’s status report and declared that it is ready for commercial production, adding that privatization will follow the completion of the proof of concept to ensure profitable operation.
Correspondent, Joseph Egbeocha reports that a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor explained that ANSEC made the review and subsequent declaration at its eight meeting of 2025 which took place at the new Anambra State Government House; marking the first-ever meeting held at the permanent location, as well as breaking the thirty four-years jinx of lacking a permanent Government House.
During the meeting, ANSEC also set in motion processes for the launch of the Awka Country Club; a component of the recently commissioned Solution Fun City, and prayed that decisions made at the new ANSEC chambers would promote welfare, unity, security and prosperity for Ndi Anambra, Nigerians and humanity.
The Council commended Ndi Anambra for their warm hospitality, which it said left a lasting impression on President Bola Tinubu and his entourage during his recent visit to Anambra.
