Presidential Visit: Anambra State Assembly Thanks Tinubu, Commends Commitment To Infrastructural Development

Anambra State House of Assembly has passed a resolution appreciating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his recent visit to the state and his commitment to critical infrastructural development.

This followed a motion moved by the member representing Idemili South Constituency, Barrister Ebuka Igwe and supported by other lawmakers.

Barrister Igwe commended President Tinubu for his visionary leadership and support for critical infrastructure projects in Anambra, including the planned integration of the state into the National Gas Infrastructure Network, erosion control efforts and the potential establishment of a deep seaport in the state.    

Contributing, the member representing Orumba South Constituency, Engineer Emma Nwafor, his Njikoka Constituency Two counterpart, Dr. Jude Akpua and that of Nnewi North Constituency, Honourable Augustine Ike, noted that the President’s visit has rekindled a sense of hope and unity among the people of Anambra.

Also, the member representing Ihiala Constituency Two, Honourable Golden Iloh, that of Anambra East, Barrister Obi Nweke as well as Dunukofia Honourable Chuks Azotani praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his transformational leadership style, which has positioned Anambra as a key player in the nation’s development agenda, while the Speaker, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, read out the resolution which received support from the lawmakers.
